Sharp pain in right bicep with bruising

Two days ago I felt a very sharp pain in my right bicep. The pain did not radiate but is centralized to an area about the size of a dime. Yesterday, a bruise, dime size, has appeared on the bicep where the pain is located, the sharp pain happens when I move or twist the arm. Today, the sharpness of the pain is still there but not as intense and the bruising is still there. Any ideas what it is??????

What were you doing when the pain occured? Though no one can say for sure what it is without a proper examination, you may have strained it or bruised it somehow. If it continues to bother you, you should have your doctor check it out.
