about 3 weeks ago i went to the ER with pain so bad it would cause me to pass out they did a ct scan and said i have a 3mm kidney stone and sent me home with a strainer and some pills for the pain the pain persisted for the 3 weeks and last night i finally passed my Stone when measured it was 8mm my questions are what is the best way to preserve the stone for the doctor my health insurance will kick in in about 20 days and then i can see the doc. it was a dark brown color and roundish and also is it possible for the stone to have grown that big that fast or was the ER doc just pounding smoke up my hole? thank you for any help you can provide
