NEED HELP WITH SIDE EFFECTS

I suffered two motor vehicle accidents and as a result I live in constant pain. I have back and neck problems. I had taken different medicines for pain in the past. Recently I took flexeril and vicodin together on an empty stomach. After taking the medication I forgot my bag in an ATM machine. I felt nauseous and sick. Then I felt someone pushing me and actually I believed I saw a man walking at a fast pace in front of me. Only then I realized that I did not have my bag and sincerely thought this man took it. I was very nervous, confused, agitated, anxious, my heart was beating really fast, I believed that this person took my bag and reported it to the police. I later found out that apparently my bag was not stolen but I left it inside the Bank. I am very confused. Is it possible that I was suffering some rare side effects like hallucinations? Please help!!!!!!!!!

I believe it's possible that you suffered this episode as a side effect of taking these two drugs in combination, on an empty stomach, especially if you were otherwise feeling weak, possibly dehydrated, and so on. If you were feeling agitated and had a fast heartbeat, it is also possible that you suffered from a panic attack. These are possible causes, but I cannot determine the cause over the Internet. Please see your doctor about this.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH. I did inform my doctor and he also agrees that it is possible I was suffering from side effects of the medication. It is needless to say that I stopped taking these two medicines when this happened. Now, I am very scared about any medications I take. But because I suffered from chronic pain, I need to take medication to relieve some of the pain. However, I do educate myself better now and before I take anything I make sure I do all types of research as to the possible side effects as rare as they might be. I also pay more attention to my body reactions and do not necessarily disregard anything as "stress" related. Thank you, for your help, I will be visiting this site often.
