Around October I had a pain in left hips and left lower back when I was dressing up in the morning. after 10 day pain aggrevated to middle back We did go for blood test and urine test which was normal and I had X-ray, MRI taken. . which said I had slip disc in the lower back. I took rest for 2 weeks and Doctor said slip disc is cured, but still I had pain in entrire back (Doctor said I had muscle stifness).

I was taking medicines prescribed by Doctor, but could't not continue as burning sensation started all over the body.

As per doctor advice (after the rest for slip disc) I started doing yoga for last 4 weeks.

Now When I sleep in the night in one side (say left) my lower rib left pains (burning) a lot, and if I sleep right my lower rib right pains a lot in the morning. If I sleep on my stomach my lower rib front side it pains a lot(The pain will in the place where more pressure during sleeping).

What is the reason for this pains.

I would like to know if should go for any other test and what is the problem I have got (Is it really stiff muscle pain or something else)

Hi Madhuchandra, thanks for your question.

Your symptoms do not immediately bring to mind any specific cause that I might suggest over the Internet. This is the sort of problem that requires a hands-on physical examination, so I recommend that you see your doctor about this. Any number of causes could be behind this, from intercostal nerve impingement to gastrointestinal problems and everything in between - sorry I can't be more specific given the available information.

Thank you very much for the reply Doctor.

New development from last three days:

1.Last three days I am vomiting soar water in the morning.
2.Around my right side shoulder is paining a lot (as I rest my shoulder during sleeping in night). Sometimes I feel that there is a kind of nerve pull below my right shoulder.

Other pains that I had mentioned earlier still exists.

I really appreciate your time and service.

Hello,

Sorry for the delay in mailing the details.

I visited my Doctor on Monday, still he says since I am doing excercises I am getting the lower rib pain and need not worry much about it.

I did ask him should we have to go for any test, but he is asking me what test you would like to go for?

Now the pain is around my collar bone it pains a lot, Lower ribs at the back and front. And which ever side I sleep for long, that side it pains a lot.

Please suggest me if I should go for any test ot should I have to change my Doctor.

Thanks in advance
Madhu
