Hi,

Any lumps as you mention should be checked out by your Dr./GYN for a prompt diagnosis and treatment. Please be seen .

I have something called a barthelen's gland cyst that sounds similar to that. You have two glands on both sides of your vaginal opening for like sweat and regular discharge and stuff. I have a very tiny cyst inside one of those glands that causes blockage and can cause it to become absessed. When it becomes absessed(infected) it swells and becomes like a lump and you can kinda push it inward because its located right on the opening of the vagina. If this is what is I would definately go to the doctor asap becuase if its not yet it will become extremely painful. Trust me I know. Mines become absessed a few times. The first couple of times I was very young and emabarrassed and wasnt sure what it was, and by the time I went to the doctor it was huge and I wasnt able to walk w/ out help. It felt like I was being pulled inside out. If you go early enough alot of times they can just give you antibiotics and itll go away. If its to late for antibiotics they will put what is called ward cathador in you. That is they will give you a local anesthetic and then cut the infected area (small cut) and then insert this rubber baloon thingy insided the wound to keep it open. This sounds painful but once the cyst starts causing pain its actually not to bad the worst part is the local anesthisia. After the procedure is done though awkward feeling because you have to leave the ward cath in for a few weeks, its still a lot better. Theyll give you pain meds but the pains really not to bad once its over with.
