I am having a major problem in the back of my left calf. I noticed it about a month ago when my husband was giving me a leg massage. Every time he would get to the back of my calf the pressure would make my leg shake. It hurt when he rubbed it but it was the pain that felt good. That's when I noticed it. It's not discolored and it's not swollen but when you run your hand over the calf you can definately feel a lump. In the morning it's not that bad but by the time the day is over it hurts to even touch the skin over the 'infected area". I'm 5'6", 110lbs so I'm not overweight and I have three kids so I don't do any exercises other than taking care of the kids and house which is a workout itself. I have past due medical bills and I cannot make an appointment with the doctor until they are paid and with the holiday's coming, well I don't think I need to say anymore. I'm really worried, what should I do? Please help.

Welcome to the Forum, laura. Please understand that I cannot put a dollar value on your health, so I recommend that you see the doctor. Most often, lumps are caused by something that is not life or health threatening, but there are occasions when a lump can signal a serious medical problem and that is why I cannot give any other advice here than to recommend that you see the doctor.
