Two weeks ago I had the Thermal Uterine Ablation procedure done. It seemed
to go fine - just some bad cramps for a few hours after. A week later I
started having a lot of stomach problems: gas, nausea, bloating (whole
midsection blows up), lower pelvic pain and the urge to urinate all the time
- I also keep getting this strange flutter feeling down near my ovaries.
I'm still bleeding lightly, but also have a lot of fluids coming out. I
wear a tampon most of the time - if not the fluids coming out soak me - like
I'm urinating myself. My doctor told me it was hormones and prescribed Gas
medicine. I'm concerned that I might have an infection of some sort? Could
I? Should I give a little more time for recovery? Sure hope you can help.

Thanks much

hi i'm not a doctor and i'm not female but my girlfriend had this procedure done also, about 2 1/2 years ago, and shes glad she did. at first there was bleeding and/or spotting, as you call it, and fluids. she didnt have pain like you are, but all in all, it just takes time for it to heal,i believe the fluid will stop once it heals and maybe then the pain will go away also, i think it took a month or so before her bleeding stopped and she never had to use a tampon again. hope i helped , and of course keep in touch with your doc
